Voters from around the country have reported on their experiences at the polls. The League of Pissed Off Voters, a network doing national voter-organizing out of New York City, compiled a preliminary list of reports of voting irregularities in New Orleans, LA; St. Petersburg, FL; Toledo, OH; Columbus, OH; Beloit, WI; and Milwuakee, WI. Other reported voting problems posted to IMCs include Felton, CA; Nashville, TN; Michigan and Ohio; Portland, OR; Boston, MA; Pittsburgh, PA; Florida and Pennsylvania; St. Louis, MO; Tulsa, OK; Manhattan, NY; Urbana, IL; Brooklyn, NY; and elsewhere. No matter what the outcome of the sElections may be, protests have been organized throughout the US. A nationwide Beyond Voting movement, sponsored by a broad coalition of anti-war/anti-empire/global justice organizations, is planning for street demonstrations in over 150 cities TODAY (Wednesday, Nov. 3), the day after the election, saying "No matter who wins, the world needs to hear that the people of the U.S. demand fundamental social, economic, and political change." In addition to protests, a World Party has been called for in cities all over the the US, and throughout the world. |

Do not waste your energy. Accept the fact that Bush won the election and move on. Face it he won by 3.5M votes in the popular vote and carried OH and FL which were key. |

Unfortunately the results of the U.S. election is confirming a world-wide incline toward neo-conservatism. More are at stake. As someone who does not have a well-established social and economic support system I feel helpless to do anything. The organizations such as yours give me hope that reason and hope are still alive. |

I was an Action Volunteer with Moveoutpac.org in Brandon, Fl. At precinct 879 several voters (both Democrat & Republican) told me that their voting site was changed to this precinct but were never officially notified by the Supervisor of Elections office. They learned from friends, family and neighbors that they had to vote at 879 and had called the Supervisors office themselves to confirm the information. They were told the location was changed at the last minute because of the expected large turnout. I wonder how many people did not vote because they went to their regular location and found it closed and didn't bother to go to 879 to vote. |

Given the exit poll results showing Kerry with a 2% lead all day, the massive voter turnout, improved ballots (no butterfly ballots getting people to vote mistakenly for Pat Buchanan), etc... it is hard to believe that Bush won with a a 5 point spread.
I suspect manipulation by the Diebold Corporation electronic voting machines, but will we every know?
I've lived a long time in the 3rd world and know the signs of a coup when I see one. |

get over yourself Liza... i know its hard to believe, but Bush won this one... you don't make 300,000 votes appear, especially when the state is split between the parties politically...
most polls had bush with a slight lead in florida... the exit polls have a margin of error, and were off in MANY states... |
