2108: 192 EVs Bush (MO, AK); 112 Kerry.
2113: 195 EVs Bush; 112 Kerry.
2142: MT for Bush (196); 112 for Kerry.

2205: CO for Bush (207); Kerry (188).
2226: Bush (210); Kerry (199) -- states to watch: FL, OH, NV, NM.
2235: Bush (219); Kerry (199).
2241: They've now begun calling Florida for Bush (237); Kerry (199) -- states to watch: OH, NV, NM.
2248: Bush (246); Kerry (199).
2311: Bush (246); OR for Kerry (206).
2349: Bush (246); NH and MN for Kerry (220) -- states (still) to watch: OH, NV, NM.
0001: AK and OH for Bush (269); Kerry (220) -- but 250,000 votes still to be counted in OH.
0024: Bush (269); BBC is calling MN & HI for Kerry (234).
0048: OH too close to call: Bush (249); Kerry (234).
0135: Bush (249); Kerry (242) -- waiting on results from IA (7), NM (5), NV(5), OH (20), and WI (10).
0241: Results have slowed to a crawl -- tentatively, it looks like the remaining states will take awhile to flesh out. Amid growing concerns (on both the left and the right) of voting irregularities, the presidential election looks more and more likely to be decided in the courts. |

I've been watching the EV polls, looks stalled out at 254 for Bush, 252 for Kerry. OH (where _numerous_ documented polling irregularities have been reported) hasn't been counted yet. But as Kerry is conceeding, that'll end the election. |

I've decided solidly not to deal with politics any more. This is my last comment. It is very symbolic that the election has ended in Ohio, the state, which can't be Bush's because of its economic crash, and sky rocketing unemployment during the last four years. Remember, this is the state, which Michael Moore used as the brightest example in his Fahrenheit 9/11 ! So, it seems that the election has been decided prior to its start, and, though I have been very angry at INDY for what they have been publishing prior to this election, it seems that this (their publications) wasn't any issue of value no matter what. So, farewell to politics!!! |

If Karl Rove were progressive:
The election would be declared the final stage of diplomatic negotiations, and it would be time for decisive action as a last resort to clarify things.
It's a good thing Karl is not progressive; lots of people would get hurt. |
