Actually, the draft bill is sponsered by 14 democraps and opposed by most Reps in the House. Nice drawing Nancy. |

If you to wayback.com and take a look at Kerry's web site from the past, you will find that his site used to say that he believed in MANDATORY service to the Country...ie: the draft. Now his site says that he believes in exchanging service for college, which we already do. Funny how he enlisted only after his bid for a deferment failed.

But the facts are, Kerry was for the draft, and now since it is not popular in getting him votes, he is against it...for now.
