As a life long resident of Florida I have unfortunately seen a great deal of damage done to this tropical (podunk in areas) paradise. Personally I am not a supporter of any Bush except mine & my girlfriend's. I understand that it is part of a Commander in Chief's duty to survey damage and let citizens of a disaster area know that "Help is on the way" (John Kerry that is!!) and that the government will be assisting them, but DO NOT turn this into a damn pull for voters. The reason that Florida has so many homeless people due to these hurricanes is because of the loss of jobs in the area. People are being forced to live in areas and homes that can not withstand catastrophic damage. I definitely don't see either of the Bushes opening up their many vacation homes and properties to the victims of these recent events. Hell, I've handed out and given plenty to victims of this horrible catastrophies so vote for me this November!!!!! |
