The UC-IMC invites its members and community to come out and celebrate 3 years of independent media Monday, January 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm at 218 W. Main in Urbana with live music, food and good company. |
Join the UC-IMC in celebrating 3 years of independent media in Urbana-Champaign on Monday, January 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the UC-IMC offices at 218 W. Main in Urbana with live music, free food and good company.
Come take a look at what we have accomplished, what is coming up on the horizon at the UC-IMC and how you can get involved. Members of all of the UCIMC's working groups will be present to answer any
questions about how community members can get involved with producing
independent radio, video and print news as well as how they can become
involved in promoting local music shows, throw art shows in our Middle Room
Gallery and help to develop the UCIMC library.
This party will kick off the UCIMC's 4th year, which promises to be a
challenging and exciting one. The UC-IMC's efforts to purchase their own building are hitting high gear as we reach over $50,000 in the bank due to generous donations to our capital campaign for the goal of a permanent UC-IMC for media production, library facilities, an art gallery and all-ages live performance space and more.
To kick off the UC-IMC's 4th year with a fiscal bang, we are asking everyone to join the UC-IMC or renew their membership the night of the party if they can. Help us start 2004 on positive fiscal footing and get involved in telling your story to the community in print, radio, video, art or live performance at the UC-IMC! |

I will then be sure to pre-party. You'll probably want to put down some plastic sheeting, because I tend to projectile vomit when I've had one too many. |

BFD is right. Not only will I pre-party, but I tend to hurl at the sight of guacamole, and vegan delicacies of all sorts.
